After posting An Outdoor Room, your comments got me thinking about an outdoor chair, so I’ve been looking and found one, but then got my feelings hurt a little bit.
I’ve been looking at this outdoor chair for over a week and had it in my cart for purchase, but today it was $100 more than yesterday. It was no longer on sale and was now listed at full price. It’s funny, but while it was on sale, I thought it was THE perfect chair for my front porch. For some reason, every time I pulled up the shopping cart, I couldn’t bring myself to complete the purchase. There was this infinite hesitation. Sitting here now, I’m glad it’s no longer on sale and here’s why.
I didn’t love it at full price and there’s a need for that. It’s easy to fall for something while it’s on sale and I’ve done this numerous times, but the quality of the product should be worthy of it’s price. It should be desirable at full price and then excite us when we find it on sale. I could purchase this chair at it’s current price, but won’t because I’ve already seen it’s sale price and it’s not worth the difference.
My darling, take a pause and make certain every decision is worth the price.
