In December, a company I work with offers a mindful practice called, Sacred Bow, to all it’s members. I’m honored to host it again this year, but the thing about hosting is, I want to know how to encourage others, so that means partaking in the practice.
The first step is to review our year, so I’m reading journals and Morning Pages, but wow, there’s a lot there and a few things are mentioned more than once with no clear direction.
These ideas, or stirrings of the heart are similar to the cardinal’s sitting atop the privacy fence awaiting their turn at the birdbath, but there’s no shame in sitting on the fence, or waiting. We can trust our heart to let us know when it’s time to spread our wings and take a leap of faith. In the meantime we can enjoy the view.
The moment will come where we’ll know it’s time to hop down and leave the fence.
